Do we need a Google Ad Grants account already?
No. The course starts where you have nothing but a website: the first modules walk through the Google for Nonprofits verification and the Ad Grants application itself. If the account already exists, skip them and start from the set-up.
Our account is suspended. Will the course help?
Yes. There is a module on the programme policy with a separate lesson on getting an account reinstated. The usual causes are a click-through rate under 5%, conversions that never fire and no change in the account for 90 days — all three are covered together with the fix. If the case is complicated, we also do reinstatements as a service.
Who can get the grant at all?
Any registered nonprofit in good standing with a working website. You will need your governing document, your registration record and a signed non-discrimination statement. Google runs the programme in most — but not all — countries, so check that yours is on Google’s list before you start.
How long does the course take?
143 lessons in 14 modules, and the real time is longer than the recordings: after each module you do the steps in your own account. At an hour a week that is usually a couple of months from nothing to campaigns that run. There is no schedule and no deadlines.
Is the course up to date? Google keeps changing the interface.
We re-record a lesson when a change in Google makes the recording stop matching the screen, and the new version lands in the course you already own, at no extra cost.
What language is the course in?
English — every lesson. It is a separate course from our Polish one, not subtitles on top of it.
We would rather someone ran the account for us.
That is PING + Assistant: the grant application, the campaign build, a daily audit with the fixes made in the account — and this course included.
See how it compares; you can move from the course to the service at any point, and back.
